the crazy truth about being a mom
Hi my friend,
You know how people say laughter is the best medicine? Well, they clearly haven't met a mom's worry! 😉
With Mother’s Day approaching next week, this quote made me laugh out loud.
After all, it reveals the undeniable truth about motherhood pretty well:
Being a mom is my greatest joy—but it’s certainly not all rainbows and butterflies. It comes with its fair share of sleepless nights and constant concerns.
Moms are the unsung heroes of our world, silently guarding our children no matter their age. Our commitment to our children is truly unmatched.
As my kids grow older, one thing I’ve learned is to accept and embrace the worries that are an inherent part of motherhood. It’s not something to get frustrated about, but simply a way to acknowledge the lifelong connection I have with my children—and how I’ll always be on the lookout for their happiness and safety.
A mother's worry = a reflection of her unwavering love.
So as we prepare to celebrate Mother's Day, take some time to honor the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in your life who have faced their worries and fears with courage and determination.
Your Action Step: Show your appreciation for the special women in your life by writing them a heartfelt note expressing your gratitude for all they've done.
Share a fond memory, a funny story, or simply let them know how much they mean to you. A few kind words can make a world of difference!
And if you're a mom, don't forget to give yourself a high-five for being a real-life superhero! 🧡
With gratitude,
Jamie
