the best gifts you can give this Christmas ❤️
I can’t believe Christmas is nearly here and that 2022 is coming to a close. It’s been a wild, crazy, and fun year—and I’m so thankful for the role you’ve played in it.
A little update from the Amelio family:
The kids keep getting older (I know, I know…but I still can’t believe it!). Avery graduates in May of 2023 and will be headed to college soon. I may actually be an empty nester after all!
So many fun memories this year, including a trip to New York City, celebrating all the “lasts” of Avery’s senior year, a family ski trip, and spending quality time with all the kids together.
Here’s a few snapshots from our year👇
Sorting through pictures like this and highlights from the year never fail to remind me what the real, most special Christmas gifts in life are.
The real gifts of Christmas aren’t things you can wrap in a neat little box with a shiny red bow. They aren’t gifts you can buy at Target on Aisle 3 (although, I do enjoy a classic last minute Target run 😉). And they don’t depend on creating the perfect Christmas card.
(Because this is the first time in 30 years I haven't sent out a literal Christmas card.)
Here’s what they are: Gifts of time, love, and the opportunity to make memories. Those are the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas.
That’s it. If you can create and give those 3 things this Christmas, I believe this will be your best and most memorable Christmas yet.
It’s easy to become consumed with making the holidays feel perfect, but there’s so much to be celebrated in the messy, crazy parts of this holiday season.
Be present and cherish those around you and the memories in the making. That’s the best gift of all.
Wishing you love, laughter, and good health in the new year and beyond. I’m so glad you’re here. 🧡
With gratitude,
Jamie
P.S. Merry Christmas from the Amelio family to you and yours 🎄
